We met Alex and Nichole at the South Sound Wedding Show at the beginning of the year. Here is a sneak peek at their wedding from this weekend. They were married at Fort Worden State Park – which also happens to be where parts of the movie “An Officer and a Gentleman” was filmed. It truly is an amazing location. Alex and Nichole are a fabulous couple with amazing family and friends.
What a lovely day. Congratulations to you both! More to come!

John and Adrienne had an amazing rustic chic barn wedding in the family orchard in Selah, WA. We loved the vintage feel and the attention to detail. Comfortable elegance at its best. More rustic chic weddings to come at Firstlight Photography!
Here are a few photos from Dan and Megin’s Pickering Barn rustic chic barn wedding. One of our favorite parts was the nacho cheese fountain. It was so kitschy yet so darn tasty. We also loved all of the rustic wedding ideas including the candles in mason jars and sprigs of fresh lavender that adorned each table. The favor was an empty candy bag. The kids and adults had a great time filling these at the old fashioned candy bar.
One of the bridesmaids had just graduated that day and was off to India the next morning. We did see her dancing and enjoying the photo booth but she also buckled down and graded college papers at the reception! What dedication.
For more information on Firstlight Photography, please visit our website! We live a rustic chic lifestyle and love to travel around the US and beyond capturing these wonderful weddings (and we get some great barn photos along the way!)
